About Us

91 Untold is a Function Specific Consultancy specialising in active and engaged learning. We work hard to find multimethodological solutions to the learning challenges you face; our goal is to help you achieve sustained change through meaningful experiences. We are proudly based in Bristol, and work across the UK.

The 91 Untold Mission:

The tension between received and emerging wisdom is becoming deafening and opinions are seemingly ever more entrenched, blinkered and binary. But what if it is not so black and white? What if the world is actually a delicious melting pot of paradox and complexity, where everything is in constant flux and it is the relationships between things that is paramount, not the things themselves?

We believe this relationship between multiple perspectives could hold a key to transformational and regenerative change. Lost or muffled voices need to be re-enfranchised and intergenerational collaboration needs to be embraced. Prosocial change can be unleashed through co-creation, innovation and agility.

We don’t need better people; we need better ideas and wiser leadership. Leadership that can balance the needs of future generations with our immediate needs. We need more organisations who tread lightly on the world and create meaningful experiences for the people they touch.

Change happens in dialogue, but it is mapmakers who shape conversations, interactions and relationships. Dialogue is at the heart of 91 Untold’s mission. We are mapmakers. We develop and curate maps that stimulate deep thinking, embrace paradox and help people navigate the multiple perspectives that make our world so rich.

We use a multimethodological approach that dances between analogue and digital, but our heart beats to explore how wisdom can nudge the world towards ever more regenerative outcomes. We love helping people think about the way they are thinking so that they can create their own transformational maps that benefit them and the world.

Aspiring to B Corp:

We have always worked hard to provide the maximum client impact (and rich customer experience) whilst simultaneously striving to make 91 Untold an extraordinary place to work, minimising our environmental impact and contributing positively to our community. As such we are aspiring to become a B Corp. If you’ve not heard of them yet, look them up, they are a super cool new way identifying the businesses who go the extra step to embrace the needs of all stakeholders and bring a little extra sparkle to the world.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion:

91 Untold is committed to providing a rich and diverse working environment.  A key tenet of our mission is to explore the tension between received and emerging wisdom. We believe it is the relationship between multiple perspectives which holds the key to transformational and regenerative change. Lost or muffled voices need to be re-enfranchised and intergenerational collaboration needs to be embraced.  This starts at home, within the organization, and therefore our EDI policy is intended as a live manifestation of our mission, rather than a statement of compliance.

As such, whatever your age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, experience, choices or anything else, above all we aim to treat you as an individual and with kindness. Together let’s go beyond the boxes and traditions that limit our society and start to create new maps.

Where does 91 Untold come from?

Roughly 91% of an iceberg lies beneath the surface. It’s a hidden force of nature that, for us, is the perfect metaphor for untapped, unrealised potential. For what we already have within us, but don’t yet use. For what exists beyond the 9% of possibility we’ve surfaced so far. And for the sheer potential in harnessing the 91% we haven’t. Yet.

How much of your story remains untold?

Credentials

Testimonials

This was the first year I didn’t feel I wasted my training budget. In addition to the tangible stuff, the training saved a huge amount of my time as the team were solving their own problems and taking responsibility. As a business we are much more productive and outputs from the team are much higher.

Cam Farrelly Partner, pd3

Andy and Neil made my journey into NLP engaging and revelatory. They allow a mass of information to be integrated so smoothly – it makes for an incredible experience. I can’t wait to try out my learnings

Gareth Jones Design Director, pd3

Prepare to be challenged and have your eyes opened. Prepare to have your eyes opened and smell the coffee. Prepare for some great learning, with fun and meaning. Prepare to have your life transformed. Prepare to believe all those superlatives when you’ve completed the course

Sam Dobbs Police Sergeant

This course has given me a set of tools, techniques and resources I can use professionally but also personally. It has helped change who I am as a leader and given me tools to support staff in my organisation

Claire Newman Finance Director, City Year

It’s not a course, more a way of thinking and living. The methodologies I believe can make a difference and won’t be forgotten – like so many courses. I have become a believer! Thank you

Howard Davis Group Finance Director, Bourne Group

What’s changed? The whole organisation. Literally everything! Different staff in different positions, different ways to train corps members, different values and language around how we operate and now in a much more productive way – challenging each other to be at cause
