John founded JSnlp, one of the businesses that grew into 91Untold, and his teaching remains part of our roots. Systemic Navigation draws on many streams, from systems thinking to psychology to organisational change, and the human side of that work carries his fingerprints: how people make meaning, how they learn, and what it takes for change to land in a real person.
The session was filmed a couple of years ago during one of our NLP programmes, where participants could ask John anything. They asked about NLP, learning and change, and about the deeper principles that sit beneath technique. The conversation feels as fresh now as it did then.
John is now largely retired and living quietly in Mid Wales, though he still joins us from time to time, bringing the kind of insight that only decades of practice and reflection can give.
This is the first time the session has been shared publicly. It isn’t a polished keynote. It’s an hour in the room with someone who helped shape the field.
Enjoy.
